Valor Raven Sanctuary was founded on a simple but powerful belief: those who have served with courage deserve a place of restoration, honor, and hope.
At Valor Raven Sanctuary, we exist to provide a place where veterans can land, recover, and rise again.

I founded Valor Raven Sanctuary because military service does not end when the uniform comes off. When my husband retired from the military, our family stepped into a season we were not fully prepared for. We had to learn how to navigate civilian life together, not just him, but me and our children as well. The structure we once knew changed overnight, and we found ourselves facing questions about identity, stability, and direction.
Like many military families, we discovered that transition is not simply a career change. It affects the entire household. We had to figure out new systems, understand unfamiliar processes, and learn how to advocate for resources that were not always easy to access or clearly explained. There were moments of uncertainty and frustration as we worked to understand benefits, community supports, and what life would look like moving forward.
Through that experience, I began to see how many families quietly carry similar burdens. I listened to stories from other veterans and spouses who were trying to rebuild routines, support one another, and make sense of the next chapter. I saw the emotional strain that can come with transition, and the need for spaces where people could find both practical guidance and genuine understanding.
Guided by prayer and a deep conviction to serve, I felt called to create something that would stand in the gap. Valor Raven Sanctuary was born from the belief that veterans and their families deserve a place where they can find support without judgment, access resources without confusion, and build community with others who understand the journey.
My background in ministry and my connection to the military community have shaped this work. I have seen firsthand the strength, resilience, and sacrifice that define military families. I have also seen how difficult it can be to navigate systems that are often complex and overwhelming. These experiences strengthened my commitment to build an organization that offers clarity, compassion, and practical help.
Valor Raven Sanctuary exists to walk alongside veterans and their loved ones as they transition, heal, and rediscover purpose. Our mission is to provide programs, connections, and encouragement that support the whole person and the whole family. We aim to create a space where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered to move forward with confidence. This work is personal. It is rooted in lived experience and sustained by a desire to honor those who have served by ensuring they are not left to navigate life’s challenges alone. My hope is that every veteran and family who connects with Valor Raven Sanctuary will find steady support, renewed strength, and a community that stands with them for the long journey ahead.
At Valor Raven Sanctuary, our mission is to restore strength, stability, and renewed purpose in the lives of veterans and their families. We walk alongside those navigating transition, trauma, and life’s challenges—offering compassionate support, practical guidance, and a strong community rooted in dignity and respect.
We envision a community where every veteran and their family has access to the support, connection, and resources needed to thrive beyond military service. Our goal is long-term impact — stronger families, resilient individuals, and restored purpose across generations.
Every veteran and family member is treated with honor, respect, and compassion.
Healing and growth happen in connection, not isolation.
We believe restoration is possible, and hope is always within reach.
